Job Duties:

• Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing basic IV therapy, and assisting with procedures
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, including vital signs, lab results, and symptoms
• Implement infection control measures to prevent the spread of diseases and maintain a safe environment
• Provide care and support for infants and neonates, including feeding, diapering, and monitoring vital signs
• Assist with neonatal ventilator management and provide respiratory support as needed
• Perform suturing and wound care as directed by healthcare providers in some facilities
• Provide health coaching and education to patients and their families on various topics such as nutrition, exercise, and medication management
• Assist with coding and documentation of patient encounters
• Manage airways in emergency situations and provide immediate interventions as necessary
• Collaborate with behavioral health professionals to provide comprehensive care for patients with mental health conditions in some facilities.
• Administer medications and provide nutritional support through various routes such as oral, intravenous, or enteral

• Valid LPN license in the state of practice
• Knowledge of basic IV therapy techniques and infection control protocols
• Familiarity with neonatal ventilators and respiratory support equipment is a plus
• Proficiency in suturing techniques is desired
• Strong communication skills to effectively educate patients on health-related topics
• Ability to code patient encounters accurately for billing purposes
• Experience in airway management and emergency interventions is highly desirable
• Understanding of behavioral health principles and ability to work collaboratively with mental health professionals
