Health Information Management (HIM) Agent
Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented Health Information Management (HIM) Agent to manage, protect, and maintain patient health information. This role ensures medical records are accurate, compliant, and accessible to authorized providers, serving as a vital link between clinical documentation and quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities
Data Management: Maintain, organize, and update patient health records in electronic health record (EHR) systems
Information Retrieval: Retrieve and release medical records to authorized parties in accordance with regulations
Quality & Auditing: Review records for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with healthcare standards
Patient Support: Assist patients with record-related inquiries while maintaining confidentiality
Compliance: Ensure adherence to HIPAA, privacy laws, and organizational policies
Coordination: Collaborate with clinical and administrative staff to support efficient information flow
Required Qualifications
High School Diploma (Required)
1–2 years of experience in healthcare administration, medical records, or a related field
Proficiency in Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems
Strong understanding of medical terminology
Working knowledge of HIPAA regulations and privacy standards
